Cloudy skies isolated rains in Mindanao, eastern Visayas due to trough of LPA
The southwest monsoon will continue to be felt in extreme northern Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning weather forecast.
Mindanao and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA).
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
The weather bureau warns that flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The forecast wind speed in the northern and western sections of northern Luzon will be light to moderate moving southwestward while coastal waters remain slight to moderate.
For the rest of the country, wind speed is light to moderate moving northeast to northwest while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
