Cloudy skies, isolated rains in Metro Manila and CALABARZON due to the easterlies
The easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on Saturday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Aurora, Quezon, Mindoro Oriental, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas, the weather bureau warned, during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and CALABARZON will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by the easterlies and flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms with easterlies/localized thunderstorm and flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The forecast wind speed in northern and eastern section of the country is moderate to strong moving eastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
For the rest of the country, the forecast wind speed is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
