Baguio temperature drops to 9.4°C, lowest this Amihan season

Baguio City in Benguet experienced on Friday morning its coldest temperature this Amihan (Northeast Monsoon) season.

Friday's temperature in the city went down to 9.4°C at 6 a.m., according to IMReady, citing information from PAGASA.

On January 30, 2019, Baguio's temperature went down to 9.0°C, the lowest during the October 2018 — February 2019 Amihan season.

Historically, the lowest temperature in Baguio City — dubbed as the Summer Capital of the Philippines because of its cool weather — was recorded on January 18, 1961 at 6.3°C. —KBK, GMA News
