Isolated light rains forecast over Metro Manila, rest of Luzon

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains on Monday due to the northeasterlies, or the winds from the northeast, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

The northeasterlies continue to to affect Extreme Northern Luzon.

Visayas and Mindanao meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the northern and eastern sections of the country, with waves reaching as tall as 4 meters.

For the rest of the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate, with wave heights reaching 1.2 meters.
