Quezon, Camarines Norte to have scattered rains due to tail-end of cold front

The tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern section of Central Luzon on Monday and will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Quezon and Camarines Norte, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, due to the northeasterly surface windflow, Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao and Aurora will have cloudy skies with isolated rains.

Coastal areas in the above-mentioned provinces may have gusty conditions.

Ilocos Region and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains, also due to the northeasterly surface windflow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm, with flash floods or landslides possible during times of severe thunderstorm.

Coastal waters will be rough in Northern Luzon, with waves reaching as tall as 4 meters.

In Central Luzon and the eastern section of Southern Luzon, coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

For the rest of the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Sunrise will be at 5:44 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:10 p.m. —KG, GMA News
