Yellow rainfall warning up over NCR, nearby provinces early Thursday evening
A yellow rainfall warning has been raised over Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, and Pampanga due to Tropical Depression Butchoy and the southwest monsoon, according to PAGASA.

In its advisory, the weather agency warned against possible flooding in low-lying areas and near river channels.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 has been raised over Metro Manila and 13 other areas in Luzon due to Butchoy.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected over Nueva Ecija and Bulacan within the next two to three hours.
