Cloudy skies, scattered rains in Caraga, Davao due to ITCZ

An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao while easterlies will affect Southern Luzon and Visayas on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterlies/localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warns that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The wind forecast for the rest of the country is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
