Carina weakens into low pressure area -PAGASA

Tropical Depression Carina has weakened into a low pressure area (LPA), PAGASA said Tuesday night.

According to PAGASA's 11 p.m. severe weather bulletin, the LPA was estimated 170 kilometers northwest of Basco, Batanes at 10 p.m.

PAGASA warned of moderate to rough seas over the seaboards of Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands, and Isabela in the next 24 hours.

The next severe weather bulletin will be issued at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. -MDM, GMA News
