Thunderstorm being experienced over Metro Manila, several parts of Luzon

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are now being experienced in Metro Manila and several parts of Luzon, according to PAGASA on Friday.

In its 7:14 p.m. thunderstorm advisory, the weather bureau said the weather conditions are being experienced in the following areas:

• Metro Manila (Quezon City, Taguig, Pasig, Marikina, Valenzuela, Muntinlupa, Caloocan)
• Bulacan (Dona Remedios Trinidad, Norzagaray)
• Cavite (Maragondon, Ternate, Silang)
• Pampanga (Magalang, Mabalacat, Angeles City, Mexico, Santa Ana)
• Quezon (General Nakar)
• Bataan (Morong, Hermosa, Dinalupihan)
• Batangas (Tanauan, Santo Tomas, Lipa, Malvar, Cuenca, San Jose)
• Rizal
• Zambales
• Laguna
• Tarlac
• Nueva Ecija

PAGASA said the conditions may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas as well.

The agency also advised affected residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides. —LDF, GMA News
