Cloudy skies, scattered rains forecast over most of the country

The effects of the easterlies will be mostly felt in Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon and Visayas is light to moderate and moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience light wind speed moving in the southeast to a variable direction while coastal waters will remain slight.

The sun will rise by about 5:45 a.m. and set by 6:02 p.m. -- BAP, GMA News
