Rolly to exit PAR on Tuesday —PAGASA

Tropical Storm Rolly will leave the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 11 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Rolly slightly intensified and is about to exit the PAR.

It added Rolly now has no direct effects on the weather in the country.

Due to the combined effects of Rolly, Siony, and the enhanced northeasterlies, rough to very rough seas of up to 4.5 meters are expected  over the seaboards of Northern Luzon.

“Sea travel is risky over these waters, especially for those using small seacrafts,” PAGASA warned.

Moderate to rough seas of up to 2.5 meters are also expected over the remaining seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA added.

“Mariners of small seacrafts are advised to take precautionary measures when venturing out to sea. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions,” it said.

At 10 a.m., Rolly was located at 540 km west of Subic, Zambales with maximum sustained winds of 75 km per hour  and gustiness of up to 90 km/h, moving west southwestward at 15 km/h.—AOL, GMA News
