Easterlies to bring scattered rains over Visayas, Bicol, Caraga


The Visayas, Bicol Region and Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm on Monday due to the easterlies or winds blowing from the east, PAGASA said.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during times of light to moderate to heavy rains.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Luzon and Visayas, and slight to moderate in Mindanao.
