Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Bicol Region, Samar due to Tail-end of Frontal System


The Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear line) will be affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon while the Northeast Monsoon will affect the rest of Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Bicol Region and Samar provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the Tail-end of Frontal System with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm as flashfloods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed in Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
