Eye of Typhoon Neneng exits PAR


The eye of Typhoon Neneng exited the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday evening, leaving a number of areas in northern Luzon flooded and without power.

According to the state weather bureau, the center of the eye of Typhoon Neneng left the Philippine area of responsibility at 8 p.m. on Sunday.

A bulletin released during the afternoon indicated that Neneng would continue moving westward or west northward over the West Philippine Sea until Monday morning.

It is then expected to turn and move generally west southwestward or southwestward through Wednesday morning.

The latest bulletin placed Batanes, the western portion of the Babuyan Islands, and the northwestern portion of Ilocos Norte under Storm Signal 2.
