Cloudy skies, rains to prevail across PH

Cloudy skies and rains will prevail across the Philippines, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA on Friday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms would affect Palawan and the Zamboanga Peninsula due to the trough of the low pressure area located 400 kilometers west northwest of Puerto Princesa City.

The same weather conditions are expected in Caraga and the Davao Region due to the trough of Super Typhoon Bolaven, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Abra will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains because of the Northeasterly Surface Windflow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA and localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience light to moderate winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
