Northeasterly surface windflow to bring isolated rains over Northern Luzon

The northeasterly surface windflow will bring cloudy skies and isolated rain showers over parts of Northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Abra will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the northeasterly surface windflow and localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the northeast to east direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The western section of Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
