Parts of Luzon to have isolated rains due to northeasterly surface windflow

Some areas in Northern Luzon will have isolated rains on Sunday due to the northeasterly surface windflow, PAGASA said in its forecast.

Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Abra will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow.

Palawan may expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm due to the trough or extension of a low pressure area. Flash floods or landslides may result due to light to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the northeasterly surface windflow and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly occur.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
