Northeast Monsoon to bring rain over Northern Luzon


The Northeast Monsoon would bring rain over Northern Luzon, while a shear line would affect the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon, PAGASA said Sunday.

Based on the 4 p.m. weather forecast, the Northeast Monsoon would bring cloudy skies with rain over the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains were expected.

The Northeast Monsoon would also bring cloudy conditions with light rain over the Ilocos Region, but with no significant impact expected.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Camarines Norte would have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a shear line.

PAGASA warned of Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times heavy rain from the shear line.

The rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms were expected.

Northern Luzon would have moderate to strong winds moving northeast to east with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Light to moderate winds moving northeast to east were expected over the rest of the country, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
