Shear line, amihan to bring isolated rains over parts of Luzon

The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon while the effects of the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will be felt in parts of Northern and Central Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Caraga, Davao Region, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line and the easterlies with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the eastern section of the country is moderate to strong moving eastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
