Amihan, Easterlies to affect parts of PH

The Northeast Monsoon will continue to affect Northern and Central Luzon while the Easterlies will affect the rest of the country, according to PAGASA on Wednesday.

In its daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the Northeast Monsoon may bring Cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley and Aurora.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.

The combined effects of the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms may also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of the said weather conditions.

PAGASA added that strong winds with rough waters may be felt over Extreme Northern Luzon, while the rest of Luzon will be experiencing moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.

The rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
