Amihan brings cloudy skies to parts of Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Northern and Central Luzon, according to PAGASA’s weather forecast issued at 4 p.m. Friday.

Due to this weather system, Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the Ilocos Region may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur because of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be felt over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, while the rest of the country is forecast to have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
