PAGASA: No tropical cyclone in Philippines in next 2 months

No tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) in the next two months, state weather bureau Pagasa said on Friday.

PAGASA climate monitoring and prediction section chief Ana Solis said that only minimal easterlies as well as isolated and local thunderstorms are expected in the country.

“In the next two months, wala tayong nakikitang possible na potensyal na bagyo (we see that there is no possible tropical cyclone),” Solis said in a Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon interview.

“Meron po tayong easterlies and isolated na tinatawag na local rains or thunderstorm activities but then napakaliit or minimal lang po niya,” she added.
