Easterlies, trough of LPA to bring scattered rains over Davao region

The Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies and trough of a Low Pressure Area on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over parts of Luzon.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds moving northeast to north while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
