Thunderstorm warning up over Metro Manila, 5 Luzon provinces

Metro Manila, Rizal, and four provinces in Central Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds on Saturday.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 11:52 a.m. Saturday, weather service PAGASA said the following areas are forecast to be affected within the next two hours:

• Metro Manila
• Rizal
• Zambales
• Bulacan
• Bataan
• Pampanga

The same weather conditions were being experienced in other areas namely:

• Batangas (Nasugbu)
• Cavite (Maragondon)
• Laguna (Cabuyao, Calamba, Los Banos, Bay, Calauan, Siniloan)
• Quezon (Real, Mauban, Tagkawayan)

Moderate to heavy rainshowers in these areas were expected to persist within two hours and may affect nearby locations.
