Moderate, heavy rain showers expected over NCR, 10 other areas

The National Capital Region and 10 other areas will have moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds in the next two hours, PAGASA said in its 11:30 a.m. thunderstorm advisory Sunday.

The other areas affected are Zambales, Pampanga, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Tarlac, Quezon, Rizal, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.

Meanwhile, parts of Bataan (Balanga, Abucay, Pilar, Orion) are experiencing moderate to heavy rains as of posting time which may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.

PAGASA advised the public to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. —KG, GMA Integrated News
