Metro Manila, 8 other areas warned vs. moderate to heavy rains

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds over Metro Manila and eight other areas in the next two hours, said PAGASA in latest Thunderstorm Advisory.

Aside from Metro Manila, residents of Bulacan, Quezon, Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Zambales, Laguna and Pampanga are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains.

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides," the weather bureau reported. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
