Parts of Luzon to see cloudy skies, rain due to shear line

Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms because of the shear line, the state weather bureau PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains, while the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

The easterlies will affect the rest of the country.

Northern and Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are forecast for the rest of the country.
