26 areas facing ‘danger level’ heat index on Friday, April 25, 2025

A “danger level” heat index is expected in 26 areas across the country on Friday, April 25, PAGASA said in in its daily forecast.
According to the state weather bureau’s 5 p.m. April 24 bulletin, the synoptic stations in the following areas could measure a 42°C-45°C heat index:

- Ambulong, Tanuan, Batangas
- Coron, Palawan
- Panglao, International Aiport, Bohol

- Bacnotan, La Union
- Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
- TAU Camiling, Tarlac
- San Jose, Occidental Mindoro
- Puerto Princesa City, Palawan
- Cuyo, Palawan
- Masbate City
- CBSUA-Pili, Camarines Sur
- Dumangas, Iloilo

- Daler (Radar), Aurora

The state weather bureau categorizes areas with a 42°C to 51°C heat index in the "danger" category, with a risk for heat stroke.
