Rain likely in Metro Manila, parts of Mindanao due to easterlies
The easterlies affecting Metro Manila and parts of Mindanao could bring rains, PAGASA said.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and Davao Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies.
As of 2 a.m., PAGASA said no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
