ITCZ continues to affect Mindanao, Eastern Visayas

ITCZ continues to affect Mindanao, Eastern Visayas

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Mindanao and Eastern Visayas, PAGASA said in its Saturday afternoon weather forecast.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast for the rest of the country because of the easterlies.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected in Extreme Northern Luzon.

The rest of the Philippines will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:27 a.m. on Sunday. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
