Trough of Bising to affect Batanes, Babuyan islands
The trough of Tropical Storm Bising (international name: Danas) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.
At 3 a.m., Bising, which is expected to reenter the Philippine Area of Responsibility, was spotted 480 kilometers west of Basco, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h and gustiness of up to 90 km/h.
It was moving westward slowly.
The rest of the country will see cloudy skies and rains due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
