Bising exits PAR anew, weakens as severe tropical storm

Tropical Cyclone Bising (international name: Danas) again exited the Philippine area of responsibility as it downgraded into a severe tropical storm Monday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

“At 5:00 AM today (July 7), Severe Tropical Storm BISING exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR),” PAGASA said in an update on Facebook.

“The final tropical cyclone bulletin will be issued at 11:00 AM today. All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA,” it added.

Bising re-entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility late Sunday evening after exiting Friday afternoon. 

The Office of Civil Defense on Monday said 38 areas in Luzon were flooded due to the rains brought by Typhoon Bising and the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
