Thunderstorm advisory issued for Laguna

PAGASA issued a thunderstorm advisory for Laguna on Sunday afternoon, warning residents of moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds.

The advisory, issued at 1:46 p.m., said the above-mentioned weather conditions may be expected within the next two hours.

The same weather conditions are also being experienced as of posting time in Quezon, particularly in Lopez, Guinayangan, Tagkawayan, Calauag, San Narciso. Such conditions may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas, PAGASA said.

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates," the weather bureau said.
