The easterlies will bring isolated rainshowers in parts of the country on Wednesday, PAGASA said.
In its weather bulletin, Mindanao, Palawan, Eastern Samar, and Northern Samar are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
The same weather system will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies in the Bicol Region and the rest of MIMAROPA.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of the localized thunderstorms.
Sunrise is at 5:43 a.m.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said that as of 2 a.m. Wednesday, the low pressure area being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has a "medium" potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
