Moderate to heavy rains affect Metro Manila, 4 Luzon provinces
Metro Manila and four provinces in Luzon experienced moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Tuesday morning.
In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 10:30 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the affected areas are:
- Metro Manila (Navotas, Caloocan, Malabon, Quezon City, Manila, San Juan),
- Bulacan (Malolos, Guiguinto, Balagtas, Pandi, Bocaue, Santa Maria, San Jose del Monte, Norzagaray, San Miguel, San Ildefonso, Angat, San Rafael, Dona Remedios Trinidad),
- Pampanga (Candaba),
- Nueva Ecija (General Tinio, Gabaldon, Bongabon, Laur, Rizal, Pantabangan, General Mamerto Natividad, Palayan), and
- Quezon (Patnanungan, Jomalig).
It may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.
Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are expected in the following areas within the next two hours:
- Tarlac,
- Rizal,
- Cavite,
- Batangas,
- Laguna,
- Bataan, and
- Zambales.
Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
