Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 5 Luzon provinces
Metro Manila and five provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Tuesday morning.
In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 8:20 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the following areas will experience bad weather within the next two hours:
- Metro Manila
- Rizal,
- Bulacan,
- Cavite,
- Bataan (Mariveles, Limay, Pilar, Bagac, Orion, Balanga, Abucay, Samal, Orani, Morong) and,
- Pampanga (Masantol, Sasmuan, Lubao, Apalit, Minalin, Macabebe, San Simon, San Luis, Candaba).
Meanwhile, the following areas are currently experiencing heavy to intense rains with lightning and strong winds:
- Quezon (Perez, Alabat, Mauban, Jomalig, Patnanungan),
- Laguna (Cavinti, Lumban, Kalayaan, San Pablo, Alaminos, Los Banos, Calauan, Bay) and,
- Batangas (Rosario, Ibaan, Lipa, Padre Garcia, Santo Tomas, Malvar, Tanauan, Talisay, Balete, Mataasnakahoy).
It may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.
Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
