Gale warning

Meanwhile, PAGASA said a gale warning is in effect over the eastern seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao, and the eastern and southern seaboards of Southern Luzon due to Tino.

The bureau warned against sea travel, saying it is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels.

”All mariners must remain in port or, if underway, seek shelter or safe harbor as soon as possible until winds and waves subside,” it added.

Forecast track

PAGASA said Tino is seen to move generally westward for the next 24 hours and may make its initial landfall over the vicinity of the southern portion of Eastern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte, or Dinagat Islands on Monday evening or early morning of Tuesday, November 4.

Afterwards, Tino will traverse Visayas and northern Palawan before emerging over the West Philippine Sea on Wednesday, November 5. It may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Thursday, November 6.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
