LTO sets dates for renewal of registration, licenses that expired July-October 2026
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Tuesday announced the dates for the renewal of vehicle registrations and driver’s licenses that expired during the July to October period this year.
The LTO has released Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5523, officially ending the extended validity period for expired vehicle registrations, driver's/conductor's licenses, student permits, and medical certificates.
This was after system issues within the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) have now been resolved, the LTO said.
Here’s the schedule for the renewal of registrations and licenses based on their expiry dates:
- July to August 2026 - November 3, 2026 to December 29, 2026
- September 2026 - December 1, 2026 to January 29, 2027
- October 2026 - January 4, 2027 to February 26, 2027
LTO said the dates are meant to accommodate everyone and to avoid overcrowding at the offices.
The agency assured that Renewals made within the set schedule will be exempt from late fees or penalties.
“Upang maiwasan ang dagsa ng tao at magbigay ng sapat na panahon sa lahat, nagtakda ang LTO ng grace period at tiyak na iskedyul kung kailan pwedeng mag-renew nang WALANG KARAGDAGANG BAYAD O MULTA (penalties),” said LTO.
