Pasig River Ferry Service suspends operations due to Ursula

The operations of the Pasig River Ferry Service on Tuesday have been suspended due to Severe Tropical Storm Ursula, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Tuesday.

After Metro Manila was placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1, the MMDA decided to suspend the operations of the ferry boat service for the safety of the public.

Its operations will resume on Thursday, December 26, as the Pasig River Ferry Service will also be closed on Wednesday, Christmas Day.

Several flights on Tuesday have been canceled also due to inclement weather conditions. 

Fourteen areas were placed under TCWS No. 2 on Tuesday as Ursula moved closer to Eastern Visayas. —Joviland Rita/KG, GMA News
