The Makati City government announced on Saturday it will implement a modified number coding scheme starting Monday, June 1, 2020.
Under the modified number coding scheme, vehicles with two or more passengers are exempted and will not be apprehended.
The scheme will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no window hours.
Meanwhile, the number coding scheme in Metro Manila remains lifted from June 1 to 5, 2020, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority spokesperson Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV on Saturday.
Metro Manila will be placed under general community quarantine (GCQ) starting June 1.
Under GCQ, more businesses will be allowed to open following guidelines issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. —KG, GMA News
