Operations of the Metro Rail Transit-Line 3 (MRT3) resumed on Sunday morning after a fire incident occurred on Saturday night.

"The MRT-3 resumed its full operations today, with 17 trains running, from North Avenue station to Taft Avenue station (both bounds)," the MRT3 management said on Twitter past 6 a.m.

Three women were injured after a train coach caught fire along the Guadalupe station on EDSA on Saturday night.

The fire started at 9:12 p.m. and was put out at 9:51 p.m., the MRT3 management said.

It added that the women "sustained bruises in their legs after jumping off the train to the mainline tracks."

Due to the incident, MRT3 trips were limited on Saturday only from North Avenue to Shaw Boulevard.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, 18 trains were operating the full line.
