LRT2 resumes full operation after signaling system issue

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 on Wednesday resumed full operation after experiencing a technical problem hours earlier, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said.

"As of 7:57 am, LRT-2 has resumed to its full line operations. Train service now available from Antipolo to Recto and vice versa. Thank you for bearing with us," the LRTA said in a social media update.

"Balik operasyon na po ang buong LRT2. Pasensiya na po at maraming salamat po sa pag-unawa," LRTA spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said in a tweet.

(The LRT2 has resumed its full operations. We apologize and thank you for your understanding.)

Earlier, Cabrera said that the operations have been stopped since 6 a.m. due to a signaling system problem.
