NLEX says heavy traffic expected Feb. 8 due to Philippine Arena event


The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) management on Monday said traffic is expected to be heavy in some areas due to an event at the Philippine Arena on Tuesday, February 8.

Traffic rerouting will be done at the following toll plazas, it said on Twitter:

  • Ciudad De Victoria northbound and southbound entries and exits;
  • Marilao northbound and southbound entries and exits;
  • Bocaue Barrier;
  • Bocaue Interchange northbound and southbound exits;
  • Tambubong northbound exit;
  • Balagtas northbound exit; and
  • Tabang northbound exit.

 

"Take alternative routes and allot more time for travel," NLEX management said.

Presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte will kick off their campaign for Eleksyon 2022 national elections at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Tuesday, February 8.

The BBM-Sara UniTeam proclamation rally will start at 4 p.m.

The official campaign period for Eleksyon 2022 candidates running for national positions has officially started on Tuesday, February 8, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
