QC to begin construction of directional islands along QC Memorial Circle

The Quezon City Local Government announced the start of construction for the proposed development of directional islands around the Quezon Memorial Circle.

According to a Facebook post on Sunday, work will begin at the Elliptical Road intersections of East Avenue, Quezon Avenue and Visayas Avenue.

Motorists were advised to be aware of directional signages and hazard markers that will be installed in the areas of construction in line with the necessary safety procedures along the 1.98  kilometer roundabout.

The announcement said motorists should expect heavy machinery and construction equipment along these areas and to maneuver cautiously. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
