Canceled flights on Saturday, May 25, 2024 due to Aghon

Airport authorities announced the cancellation of some flights for Saturday, May 25, 2024, due to bad weather caused by Tropical Depression Aghon.

According to the Manila International Airport Authority, the following flights have been canceled:

Weather bureau PAGASA raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 over 17 areas on Saturday morning as Tropical Depression Aghon continues to move northwestward and over the Samar Sea.

At 7 a.m., the center of Aghon was estimated to be located over the coastal waters of Calbayog City, Samar.

It has maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 85 km/h, and central pressure of 1004 hPa.

Aghon is moving northwestward at 30 km/h, with strong winds extending outwards up to 140 km from its center. —KG, GMA Integrated News
