MMDA announces roadwork for August 16-19

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced upcoming roadwork on several Metro Manila thoroughfares for the August 16-19 weekend.

According to a Friday advisory, the Department of Public Works and Highways  will conduct road reblocking and repairs on the following areas starting 11 p.m. on Friday, August 16:

• Tandang Sora after Culiat High School to Allan Bean (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• EDSA SB after West Avenue to after MRT North Avenue Station (2nd lane from center), Quezon City
• EDSA NB, MS North EDSA Annex to Iglesia ni Cristo (4th lane from center), Quezon City
• EDSA NB, Quezon Avenue to Philam Footbridge (3rd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• EDSA SB Bansalangin Street to West Avenue (3rd lane from center), Quezon City
• Mindanao Avenue after Sauyo U-Turn (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue SB, Saint Peter Church (footbridge) to Shopwise (3rd lane from center), Quezon City
• EDSA SB Lanutan to Bansalangin (1st lane from center), Quezon City
• General San Miguel EB between Bisig ng Kabataan to A. Mabini Street (2nd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• 1EDSA SB (2nd bus lane) after Ayala Tunnel, Makati City
• Tandang Sora Avenue, Sierra Pura Homes, Quezon City
• After Roxas Boulevard SB EDSA Flyover (2nd lane), Parañaque City

The roads will reopen and will be fully accessible by 5 a.m. on Monday, August 19.
