LIST: Holy Week 2025 road works

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday called on motorists to avoid several areas during the Holy Week, due to 24-hour road works to be undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) across Metro Manila.

In an advisory, the MMDA said the road work schedule will start at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, until 5 a.m. next Monday, April 21. Malacañang earlier declared April 17, Maundy Thursday, and April 18, Good Friday, as regular holidays. April 19, Black Saturday, meanwhile, is a special non-working day.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the affected areas and to take alternate routes, including the Mabuhay Lanes, instead,” the advisory read.

Below is a list of the areas affected by the scheduled road works:

QUEZON CITY
1. Quirino Highway, Colegio De Sta. Teresa De Avila to Primerose (1st lane from sidewalk) (southbound)
2. A. Bonifacio Avenue, 11th Avenue to C-3 (1st lane from center)
3. G. Araneta Avenue, Del Monte Avenue to N.S. Amoranto (3rd lane from center)
4. A. Bonifacio Avenue, Blumentritt to Mauban (2nd lane from center)
5. Sct. Alcaraz, A. Bonifacio Avenue to Sto. Domingo, (2nd lane)
6. Payatas Road, Kapatiran Street to Total Gas Station (2nd lane from sidewalk)
