MRT, LRT-2 ops back on Monday, April 21, 2025 after Holy Week maintenance

Metro Manila’s major rapid transit systems will resume operations on Monday, April, 21, 2025 after  undergoing maintenance during Holy Week.

In a social media post, the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) said the first ride at the North Avenue Station will be at 4:30 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. at the Taft Ave. Station.

It will also maintain its extended operations until 10:30 p.m. at the North Avenue Station and 11:09 p.m. at the Taft Ave. Station.

The Light Rail Transit Authority's Line 2 (LRT-2) also announced the resumption of its operations.

It said the first train at the Recto and Antipolo Stations will leave at 5 a.m.

Meanwhile, the LRT-1 has yet to announce the resumption of its operations. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BM, GMA Integrated News
