Pasig River ferry services suspended on Election Day

The Pasig River Ferry Service announced the suspension of its operations for May 12, 2025, Election Day.

It will resume its normal operations on Tuesday, May 13, according to an advisory.

Malacañang has announced that the Election Day is a holiday nationwide to enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote.

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. signed Proclamation No. 878 on May 6.

The holiday declaration came following a request made by the Commission on Elections, with the aim to allow Filipinos to vote this Eleksyon 2025. —Anna Felicia Bajos/RF, GMA Integrated News
