DOTr deploys buses for stranded passengers
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is offering free rides for passengers stranded in several parts of Metro Manila amid the bad weather.
In an advisory on Tuesday, DOTr said that they have deployed buses and trucks to offer free trips along certain routes from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The following routes are included in the deployment:
- Quiapo to Angono, Rizal: Quiapo, Mendiola, Bustillos, Pureza, Altura, V Mapa, Agora, Granada, Santolan, Madison, Greenhills, Galleria, Meralco, Foundation, IPI, Rosario, De Castro, SM East Ortigas, Junction, Brookside, Valleygold, Singer, Tikling, Taytay Palengke, Taytay Terminal, Muzon, Baytown, Angono
- Quiapo to Fairview, Quezon City: Quiapo, Lerma, Morayta (Nicanor Reyes), España-Lacson, UST, Welcome Rotonda, Quezon Avenue, Eton Centris, Quezon City Hall, Philcoa, UP Diliman, Tandang Sora, Visayas Avenue, Balara, Katipunan Avenue (near CW), Commonwealth Market, Litex, Ever Gotesco, Sandiganbayan, Batasan, IBP Road, Payatas, Fairview Center Mall, SM Fairview, Lagro

“We have deployed these trucks in various routes in Metro Manila so they can fetch our kababayans who were stranded. These buses and trucks for free rides will be continuously deployed dahil po tuloy-tuloy pa rin po ang pagbuhos ng ulan," said DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon
